JOB SUMMARY:

Business Partnering

Act as a compliance business partner to regional and local stakeholders
Act as first point of contact for maintenance and operation of compliance business processes
Implement and execute compliance business processes with speed and efficiency for regulatory change or adaption to business needs
Ensure regional/local regulatory requirements are defined and maintained in the tools/processes
Collaboratively work with internal interfaces and external parties
Information Management within internal interfaces & external parties (including authorities)
Lead impact assessments according to relevant regulatory changes and issues
Provide the training for internal interfaces of using compliance automation and externalization tools
Get full engagement from internal partners for the roll-out or implementation of automated and/or outsourced compliance processes or for the development of new tools

Engagement with Global Teams

Collaborative work with global teams to identify opportunities to drive speed, efficiency and consistency in compliance processes for the region/country
Consult with global team to adapt global ways of working, and receive expertise guidance for compliance issues or improvement
Inform global team (division/capability) on regulatory changes

Regulatory Expertise

Act as the first point of contact for compliance expertise in their region or country
Design, maintain and improve a network of internal and external regulatory experts
Collect and assess relevant regulation/legislation from authorities and trade associations
Co-ordinate collection and assessment of relevant regulation/legislation from authorities and trade associations by external/internal experts
Define local regulatory requirements and convert them into standardized rules, then input into automation/externalization tools
Maintain regulatory rules and knowledge for automation/externalization tools
Review and assess relevant regulation phrases defined by global experts in automation tools
Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory change, and work collaboratively with global tema
Manage the budget for external experts
Assess the compliance capability and quality of third parties

Authorities compliance interface

Operate compliance business processes where a local presence is mandatory (e.g. registrations), or handles the execution via 3P
Act as Dossier Submission & Defense representative, delivering documents to authorities and following-up registration and challenge processes
Act as first point of contacts for product audits and challenges by authorities
